9:00 - 2:30 PM  Free time: plan to arrive any time before 2:30 and pick up reunion materials and complementary museum passes at the main (south) entrance of Mystic Seaport (directions).  Note that these will be held as "will call" under your name, so you must register in advance. 

If there is any problem, the staff at the Visitor Center will know how to contact Doug Orr, or you can call him at his cell phone, 860-389-0801, his office, 888-973-2767, ext 5189, or his home, 860-572-9059 depending on the circumstances.  

During the free time, tour the museum, eat lunch on your own, or visit informally with other alumni.

2:30 PM   Opening session at the Keener Resource Room in Dickerman House (see map and directions; enter from rear door nearest the parking lot off of Rossie Street): Roundtable introductions and updates on what we have been doing since Hawthorne.  Discussion of remaining agenda, with possible updates and changes. Opportunity to pay for meals ordered at time of registration and your share of facilities fee.

6:00 PM   Mystic Seaport closes to the public.  Dinner at the Keener Resource Room in Dickerman House (you must order an entree; see menu).

7:00 PM   Evening Session at Dickerman House: Discussion on the legacy of Hawthorne, using the suggested topics as a starting point.

Sunday, August 23, 2003

9:00 AM   Mystic Seaport opens.

10:00 AM   Brunch at the Keener Resource Room in Dickerman House.  Concluding discussions.  Any other activities decided upon, followed by end of formal program.

Mystic Seaport remains open until 6:00 PM.
